Anthropic Claude Now Connects With Affinity, Adobe, and Other Creator Solutions

Anthropic is partnering with Affinity, Adobe and other creator tools makers to expand Claude’s creative capabilities beyond the visual design capabilities it announced earlier this month.

“Today, with a coalition of partners including Blender, Autodesk, Adobe, Ableton, and Splice, we’re releasing a set of connectors, tools that let Claude work alongside the software creative professionals rely on, so creatives can extend their reach,” the Anthropic announcement explains. “AI can also help shoulder the parts of the creative process that eat up time by handling repetitive tasks and eliminating manual toil.”

With this change, you can now connect Claude to a long list of creator software so you can better learn and master these tools, extend their functionality with Claude’s AI, create cross-application workflows, start Claude Design projects and then export them to other tools, and automate multi-step tasks like batch-processing assets, setting up project scaffolding, pplying procedural changes across a scene, and other busywork.

There are connectors available for Ableton Live and Push, 50+ tools across Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Express, and other Creative Cloud apps, Affinity, Autodesk Fusion, Blender, Resolute Arena and Wire, SketchUp, and Splice. The Blender integration is apparently particularly effective because Blender created an MCP connector, so it can add Claude tools directly in the app.

Anthropic says it’s also working with the Art and Computation at Rhode Island School of Design, Fundamentals of AI for Creatives at Ringling College of Art and Design, and the MA/MFA Computational Arts program at Goldsmiths, University of London to support creative computation curricula, and that students and faculty are getting access to Claude and the new connectors to provide feedback. It will expand this program to more educational institutions in the future.
