Google Expands the Availability of Gemini Daily Brief in the U.S.

Gemini Daily Brief is now available to users in the U.S., including those using Gemini for free.

“Starting today, Daily Brief is available to even more Gemini app users for free in the U.S.,” the Google Gemini account tweeted today. “Daily Brief works in the background, connecting the dots across your Google apps to help you start each day. From your emails and calendar to your conversations and interests, Daily Brief pulls the most relevant details into a single, skimmable list of to-dos and priorities, so you know what’s most important to make your days even more productive.”

Gemini scans your Gmail inbox, calendar,and tasks to find the most important things that need your attention each day and then delivers them to you in the Gemini app. There are two main sections in the Daily Brief, Top of mind and and Looking ahead. I’ve been using it for the past few months, and it’s surprisingly useful.

To access Daily Brief right now, you have to be 18 years old or older and in the U.S., and you have to sign in to Gemini using a Google personal account. Then, connect the relevant Google apps to Personal Intelligence and turn on Memory in Gemini. You can access your Daily Brief in the Gemini app on mobile, the web, and via Gemini Live.
