Google is highlighting several new features for its Google AI plans designed to help people tackle their to-do lists and get things done.
“With summer coming to an end, check out the latest updates to our Google AI plans,” Google group product manager Vikas Kansal writes.
Here’s what’s new.
- Use your voice in Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Keep. Those with a Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra plan can now speak naturally to Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Keep. These features are coming soon to Workspace business customers as well, Google says. (We wrote about this previously.)
- Design visuals with Google Pics. Those with Google AI Pro or Ultra can use Google Pics to generate, refine, and co-create images directly in Google Slides, Docs, and Drive. (We also wrote about this previously.)
- Transform Google Sheets spreadsheets into interactive mini-apps. Those with Google AI Pro or Ultra can use a new Sheets canvas feature to transform rows and columns into interactive dashboards, custom study trackers, seating charts, or other mini-apps using a single prompt.
- Use Gemini Spark with Chrome and Google Photos. Those with Google AI Pro or Ultra can use Gemini Spark to auto browse with Chrome and perform numerous tasks in Google Photos like editing and curating albums, turning photos into plans, and creating keepsakes.
And as we wrote recently, Google is also offering Google AI Pro for free for one year to students worldwide.
