Amazon’s Blink Launches $35 Home Security Camera

If you are in the market for a new security camera for your house, Amazon may have just announced the perfect product. Amazon’s Blink today introduced the new Blink Mini, a $35 home security camera.
Amazon acquired Blink back in 2017, just months before the company acquired Ring for $1 billion. And although Amazon has been mostly announcing new Ring products over the last year or so, it’s now launching a new Blink camera to expand its line of home security cameras.

The new indoor camera costs only $35 for one, and you can get two for only $65. It allows for 1080p HD live streaming and recording, motion detection, and two-way audio. The camera also includes night vision via the built-in infrared light. The device comes with Alexa integration, which means you can use a device like the Echo Show to see the live view of the camera or watch recorded clips.
Amazon is offering free cloud storage on the Blink Plus service till December 31, 2020. After the offer ends, you can pay $3 a month or $30 year to keep using the cloud storage.
In the future, Amazon plans to launch the new Blink Sync Module 2, which will allow users to store clips locally for only $35. The company expects to launch the new Blink Sync Module 2 later this year.
You can pre-order the Blink Mini right now, and Amazon plans to ship the device starting April 15.
