When you are looking at your watch, the display with brighten up. Apple says the device it still has 18 hours of battery life.
The new device comes with a built-in compass, with a new Compass app and Apple Maps support. The new Apple Watch also comes in a new brushed titanium finish that goes with the titanium Apple Card, and Apple is bringing back the ceramic model, too. Apple is also introducing new watch bands and watch faces to go with the new Apple Watch Series 5, with new models from Nike and Hermes. The cases of the new Apple Watch are now made of 100% recycled aluminium.
It also supports international emergency calling, which is a great addition for added safety.
