Apple Releases iOS 18.4.1, iPadOS 18.4.1, and macOS 15.4.1

Apple has just released new updates for iPhones, iPads, and Macs in the form of iOS 18.4.1, iPadOS 18.4.1, and macOS 15.4.1. These updates only include security fixes and no new features.

The new bits follow the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 two weeks ago. These updates enabled Apple Intelligence features for EU users, new AI-powered Priority Notifications, the ability to show three rows of app icons instead of two on the CarPlay Home Screen, and more.

Speaking of CarPlay, the release notes for iOS 18.4.1 mention a fix for a rare issue that prevents wireless CarPlay connection in certain vehicles. For Mac users, macOS 15.4.1 should also “improve reliability when installing macOS updates.”

Apple also released tvOS 18.4.1 and visionOS 2.4.1 today for Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro owners. Just like the aforementioned updates for iPhones, iPads, and Macs, they only include security fixes, and there was no new update for watchOS 11 today.
