Adobe has announced today the newest versions of Premiere Pro and After Effects, which now come with Frame.io for Creative Cloud. The video collaboration platform will now bring cloud-based review and collaboration tools to video producers using Premiere Pro and After Effects as part of their Creative Cloud subscription.
“Frame.io’s professional, easy-to-use workflow lets you share a link to your video or composition with your team, client or any other reviewers you want. They can comment and draw on the video and you will see their time-stamped feedback directly in your timeline,” Adobe explained today.
Frame.io for Creative Cloud also offers 100GB of dedicated cloud storage, allowing teams to work on up to five Premiere Pro and After Effects projects at a time. Frame.io for Creative Cloud also provides access to Camera to Cloud, which lets video producers with C2C-certified devices upload their video footage to the cloud while they’re still shooting.
Adobe Premiere Pro is also getting new features with a more intuitive Import mode for beginners, a redesigned header bar, as well as a new Export mode that simplifies sharing to social platforms. Other Premiere Pro updates include a new Auto Color feature powered by Adobe Sensei machine learning, as well as access to thousands of new free Adobe Stock Assets for video producers.
After Effects, Adobe’s leading animation software is also being updated with a new Scene Edit Detection feature powered by Adobe Sensei, in addition to a new Extended Viewer and binning indicators for 3D Layers. Last but not least, the app is now optimized for Apple Silicon Macs and it can now render compositions twice as fast as previous-generation hardware.
The newest versions of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects are starting to roll out via the Creative Cloud Desktop application. This will be a phased release, so you may to wait before getting access to all new features that have been announced today.
