Google announced this week that its paid Workspace offering for individuals is now available in Europe.

“Customers have used Google Meet for consultations, Calendar for scheduling and customized layouts in Gmail to easily communicate in ways that reflect their brands,” Google’s John Shriver-Blake writes. “We’ve loved seeing how businesses of all stripes have brought their passions to the world — from caterers, creative consultants, and real estate agents to pet sitters, hair stylists, and life coaches.”

Google launched Workspace for Individuals in Australia. Brazil, Canada, Japan, Mexico, and the U.S in June 2021, and with this expansion, the service is now available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.K. The service costs $9.99 per month in the U.S. and it is designed for entrepreneurs and other individuals who work alone or in very small businesses. It provides premium services related to booking services, professional video meetings, and personalized email marketing.

And Google notes that it has recently added other features, including the ability to live stream from Google Meet to YouTube; professional layouts and multi-send for email newsletters, campaigns, and announcements; better appointment booking with customizable reminders, durations, and exceptions; and improvements to secure video conferencing over Google Meet. There are other features coming soon, too, including the ability to add e-signatures directly to Google Docs and the ability to quickly execute agreements from Docs without having to switch tabs or apps. You can see a full list of new and coming-soon features at the Google Workspace blog.
