Microsoft Loop iOS and Android Apps Now Support Personal Accounts

Microsoft Loop for iOS and Android is adding support for personal Microsoft accounts. Microsoft Loop officially launched in public preview on the web and mobile devices last month, but until now, only the web app had support for both personal and work accounts.

With Microsoft Loop, the company created a new canvas allowing teams to collaborate in real-time. If Microsoft Loop has often been compared to Notion, its main distinctive feature is that Loop components such as tables and to-do lists can be shared across other Microsoft 365 apps such as Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Loop components also update in real-time across all these apps.

On Android, the Microsoft Loop preview app is available to download from the Google Play Store. On iOS, the app is only available via Apple’s Testflight program, the beta is full as of this writing. However, if you previously signed up for the iOS, beta you can now sign in with your personal Microsoft account in the app.

If you want to use Microsoft Loop with a work or school account, be aware that the app currently needs to be enabled by your IT administrator. The web app can be accessed on loop.microsoft.com.
