Notion today announced Notion Calendar, a calendar service that can link Google Calendar and Notion for simpler project management. It’s free.
“Notion Calendar is a new way to manage time across your work and life,” Notion’s Raphael Schaad writes in the announcement post. “Our vision is to bring the time layer eventually into all aspects of Notion (notes, projects, tasks), so that you have a unified way to manage all the things competing for your time.

Notion Calendar is based on Cron, the calendaring service that Notion purchased in mid-2022. Once billed as a “next-generation calendar for professionals and teams,” the newly rebranded service aims to connect two of our most vital resources—our work and our schedules—so that they can integrate and provide insights in both directions.
“Without leaving Notion Calendar, you can easily search and connect all relevant Notion docs to meetings,” Schaad notes. “For example, if you’re scheduling a sprint planning meeting, you don’t have to jump between apps to provide attendees with all the necessary context. You can also view and manage database items in Notion Calendar as events, like the deadlines for the sprint planning you’re doing. Notion Calendar is deeply integrated with your Notion workspace and all the other tools you’re using as part of your workflows — like Zoom and Google Meet.”
I’ve not yet had a chance to check this out, but since I use both every day, I absolutely will. In the meantime, you can get started with it yourself on the Notion Calendar website.
