Proton Mail Helps You Manage Email Newsletters

Proton Mail Gets a Newsletters View

Proton is now rolling out a new Newsletters view in Proton Mail that will help users manage their email newsletter subscriptions.

“Inbox clutter can be overwhelming,” Proton’s Anant Vijay writes. “But you can’t just toss everything, either, or you might miss a good offer or a critical update. That’s why we developed the Newsletters view.”

The Newsletters view is rolling gradually out to Proton Mail, so you may not see it immediately. But it provides a dedicated view of your email-based subscriptions, separate from the inbox, which can help you manage those subscriptions, browse through offers that may interest you, and cancel those you don’t. It features two tabs, for Active and Unsubscribed newsletters, and it lets you quickly see all the emails a sender has sent you.

And because this is Proton, the Newsletters view is also private and secure.

“As always, this new feature is grounded in Proton’s core principles: no tracking, no profiling, and no targeted ads,” Vijay adds. “Your inbox should work for you, not for Big Tech.”
