New Meta One Subscription Bundles Are Available for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Users

Following the launch of new Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus subscriptions for power users in May, Meta is starting to roll out six new Meta One subscription bundles for individual and business users. The consumer plans will bundle together the single product plans for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp and unlock more usage credits in Meta AI, which Meta is currently trying to repurpose as a creativity-focused chatbot.

Meta said today that it’s already seeing “strong retention” for its ‘Plus’ subscriptions for Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook starting at $2.99/month. However, the company wants to provide more value to power users and businesses needing extra features, including professional tools for creators and businesses.

“The core experience across our apps and Meta AI has always been free, and that’s not changing. Subscriptions unlock more specialized capabilities and expanded AI usage that go beyond what a free experience built for billions can offer,” Meta explained today.

For individuals, Meta is launching a new Meta One Core plan at $7.99/month that includes Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus benefits, as well as more usage credits in Meta AI. The $19.99/month Meta One Premium plan includes everything in Meta One Core but expands AI usage further across Meta’s family of apps.

Overall, Meta said that subscribers will get access to over 50 new features across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI. The company is also planning to introduce new premium perks in its Edits video editing app and on Meta AI glasses.

“Instagram Plus recently added custom DM and Story fonts, notifications when certain people view your Story, and DM previews. Facebook Plus is adding customization options for Messenger, offering more Reels insights, and expanding super reactions to Reels and Feed posts. WhatsApp Plus will soon test storage for chat and media backups and Focus Schedules, which help you protect the time that matters most by muting or hiding chats on a schedule,” Meta explained today.

For businesses and creators, there are also new Meta One Essential, Advanced, Expert, and Max plans starting at $14.99/month. The Essential plan unlocks a verified badge and impersonation protection on Meta’s platforms, Instagram Plus features, the Meta Business customer support agent in WhatsApp, and more.
