To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Mint Mobile is offering six months of its Unlimited plan for just $10 per month, its lowest price ever.
“Ten years ago, Mint set out to challenge the old way of doing wireless and prove customers could get premium service without the premium price tag,” Mint Mobile general manager Scott Venuti says. “One decade and millions of customers later, we’ve delivered on that mission without ever raising plan rates for our customers. And we’re celebrating with our best deal yet: Any six-month plan, including Unlimited, for $10 a month. This milestone belongs to everyone who helped prove there’s a better way to do wireless, from the customers who trusted Mint early to the newest customers joining us today.”
Contrary to the hint above, the $10 per month deal is only available to new customers and not to those “who trusted Mint early,” meaning existing customers. But it’s still a terrific offer. I’m currently a Mint Mobile subscriber and can recommend it unless you travel internationally a lot. For those in the U.S., Mint Mobile offers unlimited talk and text, high-speed data, access to the nation’s largest 5G network, mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi Calling, Scam Screener, free calling to Mexico, Canada and the UK, free texting to 190+ countries and destinations, and free roaming in Canada with unlimited talk and text plus 3GB of high-speed data.
To get the $10 per month deal, you have to pay for the 6 months upfront, so it’s a one-time $60 payment. After that, the plan you choose will revert to its normal pricing, though Mint routinely has other sales too.
