Instagram Now Lets You Share Multiple Photos on Stories

If you are an Instagram fan, there is a new Stories feature to look forward to. Instagram has been rapidly building on its Stories feature, introducing a bunch of new modes back in October.

But as it turns out, the company isn’t done yet and is introducing another new mode for Stories this week called Layout.

Layout is just a fancy name for saying Instagram now lets you upload multiple photos at once. You can now post a single story with up to six photos side-by-side. The feature works by letting you chose which layout design you want, and you can then take a photo or pick one from your camera roll. As you build the layout up, you can also go back to remove a photo you no longer want.

The feature doesn’t work with videos, unfortunately, and you also can’t use AR effects and some of the other cool effects that Instagram provides.

It’s definitely a feature that needs some work in terms of functionality, but it’s still better than having to manually copy-paste images from your camera roll to get multiple photos on a single story.
