Facebook has recently been working on unifying its social media apps. With Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram all having their own Stories feature, the company is now starting to integrate them together.
As part of that effort, Facebook will soon allow users to post their Facebook Stories directly to their Instagram Stories. The new feature will automatically post your stories from Facebook to your Instagram Stories. Instagram already lets users post Stories from Instagram to Facebook.

The new feature was first found by Jane Manchun Wong:

Facebook has confirmed to TechCrunch that the company has started formally testing the new cross-posting feature. Although the new feature may be useful for some, what I find weird is that it’s not a one-time toggle. That means when you enable the cross-post feature, it will automatically start cross-posting everything from your Facebook story, instead of letting you decide when posting each story.
The feature is only under testing for now, so that could change in the future.
