Microsoft is Taking Build on the Road

If you can’t make it to Build 2015 in San Francisco at the end of the month, no worries: Microsoft is taking the show on the road. You can now sign up for the free Build Tour, which will visit locations in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Africa throughout 2015.

Microsoft’s developer-focused Build 2015 conference is set for April 29, 2015 to May 1, 2015 in San Francisco, CA. I’ll be there for the duration, and if you want to hang out, Mary Jo Foley and I have a few possibilities planned:

Meet-up. Join us at Irish Bank on Thursday, April 30 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm PT for a meet-up.

Windows Weekly. Join us at the TWiT Brick House in Petaluma, CA for a live in-studio recording of Windows Weekly from 2 pm to 4 pm PT (plus some milling around/mingling time before and after). If you’re coming, please do email [email protected] for (free) tickets.

But if you can’t make it to Build, no worries: Microsoft is taking the show on the road via the Build Tour. This tour will bring the best of Build to 23 cities around the word. Microsoft says it will “demonstrate and share the capabilities of our latest technologies with many of the same Build speakers. Each of these single-day events will cover the key announcements from the larger Build conference, as well as offering a deeper dive into Windows 10.”

You can register for the Build Tour—it’s free!—at the Build Tour web site.

Hopefully we’ll see you in San Francisco. And if not, I’ll be at a few meet-ups the following week in Chicago for Ignite as well. Stay tuned for more info about that.
