intel vs m1 vs m2

I have intel macbook pro 16 inch i7 and my 3 years of Apple care about to run out. I have had 0 issues with the laptop since day one.

I was thinking about selling it and trading it in but my question is the m1 has come down a lot in price but the m2 is out now. A lot of YouTubers are saying if you have m1 the upgrade to m2 is not enough of a jump to warrant all the money.

I mostly use clipchamp, obs studio, manycam, iMovie (a little bit) and garage band and audacity for podcasting. Then Vscode, word, excel, chrome, firefox sublime text.

I am a small content creator at best not sure if its worth the money to upgrade even I like the 16inch because I am on the go a lot I know clipchamp and stuff like that is cloud based.

Wondering, everyone thoughts?
