Comments not showing up in Safari on iOS because…

NextDNS

I have my iPad and iPhone set to use NextDNS. This laptop is not. I setup NextDNS a while ago and have added sites to the Allow List as needed when Safari tells me it can’t access the site. I have to admit I don’t spend much time in the Forums or actually reading readers’ comments, but I wanted to add a question to last week’s Ask Paul and couldn’t. So, I started digging and reading the forums on this device and not really finding an answer. Turns out that if I disable on a device NextDNS the comments show up just fine on that device. With it enabled, no comments at all. Anywhere. Makes me wonder what else I’m missing on other sites.

I spent an hour or so looking at the NextDNS logs and analytics and tried adding different combinations of sites to the Allow List with no luck. Can anyone enlighten me as to how to configure NextDNS to allow me to read the comments on my preferred devices?
