Do articles get edited by anyone?

I have noticed more and more grammer errors and other writing type errors and thus I am wondering if articles get any sort of editing beyond self-editing by the writer? Just today, Paul’s article on Corel’s potential acquisition refers to “Core” in the lead sentence. And Mehedi’s article on MS cumulative updates says “but now” instead of ” but not”. Very minor errors, but symptomatic of many, many errors I see on the site almost ever day. To be frank, Mehedi’s articles have many more errors then Paul’s or Brad’s.

I realize that this is a different age from the print newspaper era I grew up in, but as a reader I find constant errors to be annoying. I love the content and I visit this site including the premium articles at least twice a day. But I’d sure like to see a bit more editing (self or otherwise).

We're happy to fix things like this. Just email the author or post the typo/grammar issue in comments.
