Sometime halfway through 2025, I wanted to evaluate my use of A.I. I have commented on the A.I. Services before in this forum, I wanted to take a fresh look at matters, and I hope I can provide information that might be useful to some. I really wanted to narrow my AI to one paid service, and keep Grok free and Braves AI free.
Presently, I use:
Here is my conclusions:
ChatGPT is the best overall[it really is] AI chatbot due to its advanced language model, conversational abilities, and free access, but it can experience server outages. Its conversational abilities are what I find useful!
Microsoft CopilotPro excels in real-time information retrieval and integration with Microsoft 365, making it ideal for research and productivity. Copilot Voice and Think Deeper are available to free users and Copilot Pro subscribers without usage limits[which is of value to me]
Grok is the best free image generator and offers multimodal capabilities, but it may lack advanced language features, but is able to go ‘deep’ in ways that the others cannot, and I am only using the free model. It to me is scary good!
Perplexity Pro is highly accurate and effective for research with real-time web search, but it is a paid service.
Brave AI (Leo) is free and customizable, but it has usage limits and is less advanced in continuous learning and natural language comprehension. I love it as I read its results first at the top of the page and practically ignore the search results.
Here is what I am leaning to:
Perplexity Pro as I can confirm it is highly accurate, it does not hallucinate like the other two paid AIs have done in the past, I find it to be highly effective for research with real-time web search. I am doing ‘plant’ research for my plant nursery and I have compared the results to other A.I. services, and it just comes out in terms of ‘research’ on top. I have answers that are just outstanding and so relevant that it blew me away.
I have been using paid versions of OpenAI ChatGTP and MS CoPilotPro from each of their conceptions, I am really used to how they behave. So I still really like them and I may keep one of them. I still have a lot to think about.
Any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
