I’m wondering whether there’s an AI, which can be installed on Windows 10/11, that can interact with local files for the purpose of (re)naming them?
Specifically, I’m thinking of JPEG scans of miscellaneous papers (ordinary scans not processed by OCR).
For generic “scan001.jpg” files, it’d be tremendously useful and time-saving for AI to go through thousands of such files and suggest filenames for them based on their headers and content (e.g., 2024-09-12 ProHealth insurance bill – page 1.jpg; or 2010-01-01 RetroMag – Article name here – Page 88.jpg). Or even iOS’s (probably intentional) file name insanity like IMG_3532 instead of Android’s 20240912 etc.
Due to privacy, I’m seeking an AI that locally processes personal JPEGs located on my C drive. (Though I wonder why Google wouldn’t implement such a feature in its Drive; maybe because most people don’t care much for organization and intentional sorting.)
