Anyone use UniFi AC In-Wall AP or similar products?

I have a Netgear Nighthawk X4 AC2350 in my basement but the wifi signal is not great on the 2nd floor. The whole house is wired but I want to add something to the 2nd floor to boost the signal. I have set up an access point in the past but then I had to switch back and forth between depending where I was at and is not user friendly for my wife and kids.

I could use an extender but it seems like there should be a better way since I have a wired connection available. I was thinking about getting a Netgear Nighthawk Mesh X6S but a UniFi AC In-Wall AP was recommended to me. Its cheaper and would fit my needs but I’m not sure how difficult it would be to set up. From reading up on it a little, it seems to be more than a standard consumer device. Anyone use something similar to this? How difficult was it to set up? Thanks
