Apple and Intel reaching agreement to manufacture M-Series chip at Intel Foundries

Some time ago as many were discussing the imminent demise of Intel someone (hint, it was me) had a different view. I said that in the future we might very well see Apple, who is very fond of using the latest and greatest nodes for their silicon, using Intel’s new 18A process for their M-Series chips.

It very much looks like that is going to happen.
