Fossils threads cont. Mom is hell bent.

I guess I will look elsewhere for a smartwatch. The funny thing is my mom recently bought a Fitbit, and over the holidays, as I said previously, all three of us gals, myself, my daughter, and my mom also bought Sony Bluetooth speakers. We’re trying to set up my mom’s Fitbit to talk to her iPhone and then have it put Alexa over her Bluetooth speaker.

We’re having trouble as her iPhone is a 7-something (she refuses to get a new one) and all the apps needed to make this work say “You require iOS 14 or later”

I called my brothers and they aren’t sure how to get those apps on her outdated iPhone either.

But she is hell-bent on talking to her speakers via her Fitbit using an outdated iPhone.

Yesterday I was trying to chill and watch movies, home alone,bookedays book Sunday for myself. I got several calls from her, as she was testing over and over again “Hey Alexa, call Sarah”

That being said, she is also hell-bent on me joining this Fitbit discovery, the smartwatch thing. Every time I visit her, she says “Oh you didn’t buy a Fitbit yet?” – “It tells you how many steps you do in a day etc..” LOL.

She wants me to have one… who, what brand should I get?

Apple?
