FTTH Internet Service

I finally have fiber to the home now (I had it in Houston years ago, it’s been a long time coming to my current location). It’s symmetrical gigabit. I was downloading some Linux ISOs today to update my local stores. It is amazing and awesome to see downstream speeds basically running at gig wire speed. I saw some of them topping out at 101MB/sec (nearly the pipe speed of 1000Mbits).

I worked for a large law firm in Houston and for years we served the entire firm with a single gig link. It’s amazing I now have this at my home.

How many others here have access to this tech?
