annoying android problem

So making the switch to android phone. Wow all the apps. How ever in a non flagship style phone the rom storage is limited. And a lot of the mid to low end phones have converting the SD card into internal memory disabled. Which shouldn’t be a problem, but unless you really clamp down on android updates, you’ll find that apps will suck up all of the rom in just a month or so. Why is android so bloated?
