Cars and (wireless) CarPlay

Does anyone have a good sense of which car brands are better or worse at providing CarPlay and/or wireless CarPlay functionality?

My current car does not have it but I will need to replace the car soon, so I’m curious if there are brands that just don’t implement this well such that it’s unreliable, or whether it pretty much works well anywhere it’s provided.

Also, does anyone know if, where wireless CarPlay is available in a car, such cars normally also support wired CarPlay as well?
