Old Google Pixel Batteries PSA

If anyone here has old Google Pixels stored away. Check to see if the batteries are swelling!

I had my old Pixel 6 Pro battery swell up just recently. My old Pixel 4a5g battery swelled up early this year too!

I read the batteries have safety mechanisms built in to prevent fires. It will be very difficult to get old data off with a shot battery nonetheless!

This applies to any old phones too!

It’s unfortunate phone batteries are not easily removable.
