No new Roku hardware this fall?

I don’t know the source of this information at all and I don’t see any corroborating reports yet, so I’ll leave it as a forum post: Roku is apparently not launching new streaming hardware for this holiday season. That is a strange decision, of course, but it’s also the first time it’s happened in several years if true. I’m curious what’s behind this.
