Amazon Fire 10 Tablet

I took the bait and purchased a new Amazon Fire 10 Tablet and I really like it. Currently here in the USA Amazon has tablets at like 50% off.

Wow am I blown away by this tablet. I did not know how much I would like it. I had so low of expectations and I went into this endeavor realizing I will not have some of the apps I might want. However, I purchased it as a consumption device to read books – Kindle, to listen to books – Audible, and to watch movies – Amazon Prime & Netflix.

All three activities are wonderful on this device, the screen is sharp and bright rivaling the iPads, and the sound is great even for me [I do not hear ‘S’s very well or other high pitched noise in my right ear due to damage in my teenage years]. This tablet is slippery as an oiled pig, reviews advised getting the tablet cover and I am so glad I did.

A pleasant surprise as this tablets browser[name forgotten] has been excellent. Setup was a breeze as I was able to use the Alexa app to set up the tablet. Nice experience. Solid experience!

I was looking to get a colored Kindle reader as my first choice the last several months. But this Fire tablet is a better fit for my needs as I like Audible and Amazon Prime, too. The Kindle reader in this tablet is the the way I like it, it functions to make reading easy on my eyes and navigation is superb. I wish it did not, lol, make book purchasing so easy.

I purchased the 64Gbs vs the 32GBs as it was cheap upgrade but doubles the storage.

The last tablet I had was a 8″ Dell. The two extra screen inches make this tablet better. Bigger in this case is better.

I am also all of a sudden thinking of this tablet as making a great gift.
