Ghostwriter sub for Typora on Linux

I use Typora 95-99% of the time for document creation with Notepad doing a little bit of the help with 2-5% use.

I have not used MS Word for over two months +. It is that I love Typora that much.

It hurt when I put Linux on two old PCs, as Typora was not offered. But steps in a great substitute for Typora: Ghostwriter. It is decent and I like it. It is free. Likewise, it works fantastic on Linux. It has a Windows version. I think the developers did a good job.

This is what makes it a reason to try and use it: Ghostwriter has a split-view interface [split-view mode, sometimes called the dual-pane editor or live preview split. It is a Markdown editor + preview mode] where the left pane shows the editable Markdown text and the right pane shows a live formatted preview of the same document. If you try it and the right side isn’t updating, it’s likely the preview pane is set to manual refresh or disconnected!

I only mention it because I do not think Paul has yet.
