Site outage today

Hi all,

Sorry for the lengthy site outage today. I’m not sure if I can explain it properly, but it was upstream from our server and apparently a major failure. So we had to recover from a backup. And we have a day or so of stories to report, plus whatever from today.

Expect some glitches while we iron this out. For example, the site is resolving to the wrong URL as I write this and it looks like comments aren’t working (probably because of the URL thing).
