Tiny type, few images, boring design

It’s been a month or two since I’ve been to thurrott.com, but I feel the need to point out, at least on my desktop machine, the main page design has tiny type, almost no pictures, lack of color, and is not interesting to look at. Paul, aren’t a lot of your readers middle-aged or older? Who can even read these tiny words?
