We’re working on the home page

Just a quick heads-up. If you noticed the ugly new block of forum post blurbs on the home page, that’s temporary. I was on a call with Robert yesterday and we started messing around with some of the home page elements, and that’s one that’s not quite where we want it. But we ran out of time. And that will be fixed.

I’ll cover this is more detail later. But some of the goals here are:

• Redesigned header with graphical links (buttons/icons) to our YouTube channel, the newsletters, Eternal Spring, and more
• Making the other content blocks more customizable/dynamic and with new look and feel and/or layouts
• Update the terrible site footer, which was horribly out of date and still needs a lot of work

We did update the Premium content block on the home page with a carousel like the one you see at the top of the page, and I do like that quite a bit.

Anyway, back in the 1990s, we would have put one of those silly “Under construction” graphics up. But for now, I’ll just leave it at this. 🙂
