Bluesky 1.60 is Released – Posts Now Public

Bluesky has a notable update today. Version 1.60 is available and with it comes the ability to view posts without having a login. This is great because now posts on Bluesky can be viewed by anyone even though the service is still invite only. Users are able to opt-out of having their content accessible publicly if they would prefer to stay private.

Also of note, they’ve also got a new butterfly logo that kind of reminds me of the blue bird Twitter logo, calling back to Bluesky’s origins within Twitter.
