Firefox vs Brave

Since Paul apparently uses Brave I would like to hear his (or anyone’s) take on Firefox vs Brave. I started using Brave a while back but it did something very strange with sync (on my iPads, not my main usage device but enough to really notice the issue) and I couldn’t stop it so I abandoned Brave for Firefox. With addons Firefox seems just about as competent at stopping all the insanity that is the ‘web’ these days.
