I used to like The Verge, not anymore

I’ve been a longtime reader of The Verge and remember when it was primarily a site for tech news, reviews, and insightful behind-the-scenes stories. Lately, though, it feels like the focus has shifted toward political commentary. For instance, a few months back, the lead article discussed how a Trump presidency could negatively impact the world compared to a Kamala one, and now there’s a headline about “President Musk†complete with a very pointed photo choice.

I’m not here to weigh in on political preferences—I just miss the days when The Verge was all about technology. I’d love to see more coverage on topics like FCC updates, the latest developments in AI, new tech regulation laws, and fresh releases from Apple, Microsoft, and others. Let’s keep the tech discussions at the forefront and set aside the political debates.

Sorry for the rant, but as a fan of technology, I truly believe The Verge should be a hub for tech insights, not a platform for political opinions.
