Problems with Brave importing profiles

Finally giving Brave a try…but it will not let me.

When I go to import settings from Edge, and select the profiles to import, it crashes a few seconds after I click the Import button to start the process. I closed Edge and killed all the Edge processes prior to this.

Any ideas?
