Google and LG just helped Apple out

On Apple’s website, they write about the iPhone X “The first OLED screen that rises to the standards of iPhone” , and I thought that was a strange and stupid thing to say because at my work, I get to play with almost every new phone that comes out and I haven’t seen a bad OLED in years. But in the past week, 2 flagship android phones , the LG V30 and Pixel 2 XL (apparently they have the same display) have actually made Apple’s statement true, instead of a silly and strange lie. Apple is very lucky! The iPhone X really can say it has a much higher quality OLED than some recent android flagships

Saying “The first OLED screen that rises to the standards of iPhone” isn't saying they have the a higher quality OLED screen than there competitors it's saying that they finally think OLED are of a high enough quality to put in their product. Apple will rarely compare themselves to a competitor because it is crappy marketing.
