Android Automotive – google maps – destinations

hi,

I’ve been trying to find some information for weeks now yet it seems not to be available for some reason.

My new car is running Android Automotive, so far so food. It has Google Maps, check. So in the mean time I’ve already installed all google apps on my phone, mail, calendar, maps, …

I was kind of hoping that just like with Apple Carplay, google maps would suggest to take me to my next calendar entry, with an address in it, based on time of the day. Yet nothing like that has happened so far. No matter what I try.

It seems like a basic feature but I can’t figure it out.

Is this not possible or am I approaching this completely wrong?
