Next website comments system update?

When is the next iteration of the comments system on this site? I keep posting replies etc in various forum and site posts but alas no idea when i get a reply or upvote etc. Some form of notifications or ability to track posts are needed.

    <p>The comment bug is still being looked at, it's a nasty little bugger.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>As for more features to the site, a system wide notification platform is in the works, no eta on completion though.</p>
