Text color while in Dark Mode bug

Is anyone else seeing this bug?

When I first log into the site my Dark Mode preference kicks in as it should. The issue is that the text color doesn’t shift (to white) and remains black making it nearly invisible, especially in forum posts.

Toggling to Light and back to Dark with the switch at the top of the screen does resolve this and corrects the font display color, but has to be done again with each unique visit.
