Upgrade Home to Pro: Device Encryption/BitLocker question (Part 2)?

Paul. Just following up on a previous reply you gave to a post on Dec 2 2024.

Did you ever get an answer to the question if you upgrade from W11 Home to Pro, does the BitLocker Recovery Key stay the same and can you view it at onedrive.com/recoverykey?

Or does the process of upgrading from W11 Home to Pro turn off the Device Encryption and you then have to turn on BitLocker in W11 Pro (a process I am familiar with)?

As a home user who needs W11 Pro for BitLocker to Go, the factor holding me back from buying a laptop with W11 Home is my confusion as to what happens to the Device Encryption/Recovery Key/BitLocker etc when I upgrade to W11 Pro.
