Windows 11 Recall – Is It Safe?

There has been a lot of discussion about this topic ever since Microsoft Build. I had thought about it and honestly had decided that I would use it. But now, after seeing Steve Gibson’s latest ‘Security Now’ episode (Episode No. 977) there is no way I’d touch it with a ten-foot pole.

I had seen Kevin Beaumont’s posts on Mastodon and, since he talked about it so much, I thought he was overblowing it. (I respect Kevin Beaumont very much, by the way.) But now, hearing what Steve Gibson is saying, there is no way I’d use it. I’d encourage anyone that hasn’t seen Steve Gibson’s latest podcast to see what he and Beaumont are saying.
