Starfield and exclusives

It seems that Starfield will not support DLSS on Nvidia cards but only the equivalent technology on Asus cards. Is this the new level of exclusivity? How can this be legal or pro-consumer behaviour? Am I supposed to buy a new graphics card? I am starting to think that all kinds of regulation on Microsoft are right
