Asus Zenbook S14 (Lunar Lake) vs Surface Laptop 7 (xElite)

My daily driver is a Surface Pro 6 which I had purchased in 2017-2018. I’m a .NET developer and develop React, .NET API and MAUI apps using Visual Studio IDE and Code.

I’m planning to buy a new machine since SP6 is running out of RAM (8GB) while using Android emulators for MAUI.

Although I was initially convinced on purchasing the Surface Laptop 7 xElite with 32GB RAM; after hearing the reviews of Lunar Lake, I’m a little confused. My predominant usage is for app and web development. I only upgrade machines after 6+ years
