Bent Surface Book?

So my SB started to show signs of increased light bleed. Then I started to noticed when closing the lid it didn’t make that nice little click sound. Now this is what I see. Anyone else have this? Everything works fine and the light bleed is only visible on boot up which is minimal.

I'd be worried about the battery deforming. Might wanna take it in and have it looked at.

It appears I've figured it out. The screen has separated from the rest of the tablet portion itself.

I detached the screen and laid it on the table and you can clearly see where the bulge is. Lightly pressing on the bulge shows it moves quite a lot actually.

Research shows it is a glue issue? Could be related to the early days when I would experience the thermal nuclear bag meltdown syndrome (TNBMS).

I've had it since Oct 2015….So we'll keep trucking until failure occurs.
