Surface Pro 4 battery

Anyone else had a bad experience with the Surface Pro 4 battery in regards to draining while “shutdown”? I do a full shutdown.. either clicking, or just running shutdown via the command line. Two days later, power back on, battery at 20%. Its happened since day one. There are a number of threads on the microsoft forums from users with the same issue. I’ve tried a ton of things. Different peripherals attached/detached, adjustments to power plans, sleep settings, any random straw that’s been suggested. This is the only real complaint I’ve every really had about it.
