Xbox one x has started to have the screen go black then comes back on. Looking at the internet I hope microsoft is working to fix this hope it is a driver issue.

I had this happen with my Scorpio Edition Xbox One X and after about a week of it doing it, the screen went black and stayed that way. I tried all of the troubleshooting steps I could think of – different TV, different HDMI ports, different HDMI cables, booting the console into recovery mode, booting the console in low resolution mode – nothing worked.

MS could not guarantee that I'd get a Scorpio back if I sent it in for repair, so I ended up just getting a refund from the retailer and buying a non-Scorpio model which has been fine so far.

Happy Holidays all, I too have been having multiple issues with my Scorpio Edition Xbox One X, particularly turning it on without any video output. This has happened frequently to where I have sent it in for repair twice since purchasing it. Now, as luck would have it I am having issues with it freezing and crashing after the most recent update (NOV 2018) necessitating reset. Hope I can get through this as my better half is trying to binge on some shows and the constant crashing is hot helping :). From what DJS was saying I may not get it back the next time I have to send it in for repairs.
