Best Linux for Surface Pro 2

I’m now down to my last Windows computer – a Surface Pro 2 that still works and has a good (non-swollen) battery.

It cannot accommodate Win 11, and even if I could execute the work-around I would not want to.

But I like the quirky little computer. So when Win 10 is over, I could spend the money on a year of support, I guess, but I really don’t use it much, so I’m reluctant to spend even that. That means Linux.

So my question is: what distro would be my best choice? Basic must haves are pen support and wifi.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
